This league is currently set to 5 scores. Only your best 5 scores each week count toward your weekly total (Monday–Sunday). If you play all 7 days, your 2 highest (worst) scores are thrown out. Once a player reaches the minimum 5 scores for the week, their row will be highlighted to indicate they are eligible for a weekly score.
You need at least 5 scores in a week to compete. The league manager can adjust this setting:
The current season goal is 3 weekly wins. In Division Mode, the first player to reach that number in their division clinches the season—then promotion and relegation kick in and a new season begins.
The league manager sets this target (anywhere from 2 to 6 wins). Standard leagues default to 4; Division Mode defaults to 3. Changing it affects only the current and future seasons—completed seasons are never altered.
Each day's Wordle runs midnight to midnight Pacific Time, and the scoring week runs Monday through Sunday. To be fair to players in other time zones, there's a 3-hour grace window on each side of midnight: in the last 3 hours of the day you can post tomorrow's puzzle early (handy if you're on the East Coast and already have the next one), and in the first 3 hours you can still post yesterday's. Every score always counts toward its own puzzle's day—so a score posted in the grace window lands on the right day and will show up in the weekly table even if it isn't on the “Latest” tab yet.
If you fail a Wordle (X/6), it does not count as one of your used scores and won't affect your weekly total. Failed attempts will appear in the Failed column of the weekly table for reference. Failed attempts do count as a 7 in your All-Time stats.
If two or more players finish the week with the same total score, they all earn a weekly win. The same applies to the season—if multiple players reach 3 weekly wins at the same time, they share the Season Victory.
First player to reach 3 weekly wins is crowned Season Champion!
This league runs in Division Mode with two divisions. The league manager assigns players to divisions and can rearrange them until the first weekly winner is recorded on Monday. After that, divisions are locked for the season.
At the end of each season, the top 1 player from Division II move up to Division I, and the bottom 1 player from Division I drop to Division II.
Two spots are decided automatically: the Division II champion is always promoted, and the Division I champion is always safe from relegation—no matter what. Every other spot is decided by the rankings below.
Your league is currently set to promote 1 and relegate 1 each season. This is configurable by the league manager (1–3).
To decide who moves up or down, players are compared in this exact order:
1. Week participation. Missing a week (fewer than 5 valid scores) counts against you most. A missed week would leave an unfairly low total, so players who miss are sorted ahead of everyone for relegation and behind everyone for promotion. Showing up every week matters most.
2. Season Total. Among players with equal participation, the lower (better) cumulative score wins out—best totals are first in line for promotion, worst totals are first to be relegated.
3. Weekly wins. Still tied? Total weekly wins this season is the final tiebreaker—more wins is better.
🎲 Dead even? If two or more players are still perfectly tied for the last promotion or relegation spot after all three steps, a random draw decides who moves. The Sunday update will warn the league when a random draw is on the line.
Newly promoted players receive immunity for the remainder of the Division I season they join—they cannot be relegated until the following season. Relegated players receive a badge indicating they are a new arrival in Division II.
Use the Weekly Score / Season Total toggle on the weekly table to check where players stand.
The league manager can enable AI-generated messages that are automatically sent to the group chat when certain events happen. These messages add personality and fun to the league experience.
Celebrates when a player gets a perfect score (1/6 or 2/6).
Sends a message when a player fails a Wordle (X/6).
Posts a weekly race update every Sunday with standings and AI commentary.
Delivers a full weekly recap every Monday with winners and highlights.
The current default tone is set to Spicy. The manager can set the tone globally or customize it per message type, and even per individual player.
The league manager has the ability to reset various league data if needed. This includes resetting the current season table (clearing all weekly winners), resetting all previous season winners and the season counter, and resetting all-time stats for the entire league or for individual players. Most resets include a revert window so the manager can undo them if needed.
