Wordle leagues on a group text are priced per player. Slack and Discord are priced per league, however many people are in it.

Flat at every size, so the price tracks the league rather than a plan name. Nine players is the maximum.

The honest bit
Why a text Wordle league costs more
Because the carriers charge us for every message. A Wordle league on a group text sends real SMS all week — score confirmations, the Sunday race update, the Monday recap — and each one carries a per-message fee before we have made a cent.
Slack and Discord cost us nothing per message. We pass that difference through rather than charging everyone the higher number.
It is also why the free trial is Slack and Discord only. A trial text league is a real bill we pay on a league that may never convert, which is both expensive and trivially abusable. We would rather say that than quietly make the trial worse for everyone.

Do players pay anything to join a Wordle league?
No. There is one bill and the manager holds it. Players are never asked for a card and never create a billing account.
What if the league grows?
Move up a tier from the dashboard. It takes effect immediately and you are billed the difference for the rest of the period, not a fresh month.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your dashboard, in one click. No contract and nobody to email.
What happens when I do?
The league disconnects and stops reading scores. Nothing is deleted — players, scores, standings and season history stay exactly as they are, and reconnecting picks up where you left off.
